No permission to upload??
i've just tried twice to upload some movie and i've got smth like this: "you do not have permission to upload file"
 WTF?

can you try again. we just moved to a bigger and better server some hours ago, so the error you got might have been related to that.

can you try with another movie file. it might be the file that doesnt work with our backend. it does happen.

i just uploaded a wmv and it worked fine. so i think the problem might be at your end.

I've received this error myself before. Mostly its caused by a bad codecs that the video has been encoded with. While we have a tons of codecs' installed on the server to take care of all the various codecs' used in videos these day it does happen that we don't have one particicular. Other times you might be uploading a big video lets say 50 megs plus and if you're not on a good broadband line f.x only ½ a mbit uplink what will happen is that the transfer drops packages and you'll end up uploading a broken video and obviously that can't be encoded. Much like what happens a lot of times if you download a big ZIP file and when you want to extract it it says the archive has been corrupted and you need to redownload it. Hope this makes sense.

today i made another attempt and everything works fine. uploading speed was much higher than yesterday, so you're probably right. thx
