Adultsharing is now a Pay 2 view community? way to whore yourself out.
You should be making enough on ads alone to support the site.

Hi Zorf,

If the ads made enough you can be sure I would keep all features FREE of charge. But for the past 4 months AdultSharing has been costing me money which I've paid out of my own pocket in hopes that it would turn around, but it didn't instead more users came along and my bandwidth and hosting bill grew.

So I was left with only one decision to charge money for certain features. As you see the pictures are still free its only the videos and the zip function I'm charging for as these are the two most bandwidth heavy features.

I hope for the community's support in this decision as I obviously have no intend of bankrupting myself over running a free community.

Alright, understandable choice then. But 20$ a month seems a bit steep.

I'm having an addon developed these days that will allow contributors to get free access to all features.

So the future of AdultSharing will be like this.

If you share you get everything for free if you don't you need to pay.

I'm preparing a small annoucement right now which will be posted tonight at the forums with more information about all of this.

so things started getting more expensive once the video feature was added?????

Considering 99% of the videos uploaded could be videos of my grandparents fucking.....or the greeters at Wal-Mart. Or the window lickers on the school bus....

I would say this feature isnt worth it......there have been barely a few videos worth it.

I don't see anyone paying 20 bucks a year....let alone 20 bucks a month.......seems like ALOT....

i am disapointed to see you have to pay for the videos, especially as its the users here who find them or upload them, then you have to pay to watch them. But i also wouldnt expect the site owner to pay out of his own pocket.

a bit absurd doesn't remotely begin to describe this 20$ a month fee.

For 20$ a month I'll go subscribe to a real porn site... hell I might even be entered ina raffle to have sex with the main person of the site. This is a SHARING forum, and all of it is from OTHER forums and compiled here.

90% of the crap on here is straight from another site. It's almost like your charging people to look at plagiarized material... lol wow

yeah i have to agree with spadge and maybe_jay, i understand that it sucks to pay out of your own pocket, i also understand that without making the videos pay to view, theres not much incentive for anyone to pay the monthly fee. what, for a zip function?

however, when most of the material here is uploaded by the users, it shouldn't be pay to view. it is absolutely like charging people to look at plagiarized material, and this was a sharing community, the people doing a lot of the uploading aren't making money off of it either.

Lets clear some things up here

All of you keep referring to users sharing. Right the thing is none of you are sharing I think I can count the contributors on 1 hand. and the other 4 sharing is people I know personally and invited here and yes occasionally somebody does post a thread or two with some good content. But please don't get all defensive as if you guys build this community by your contributions.

And as I stated earlier there will be a system up that gives people that contribute free access to everything and the ones that doesn't will have to pay.

I would pay more attention to what you guys said if the truth was that you had actually supported this forum by clicking ads and signing up for leads while it was there but fact is you didn't thus obviously why I went in another direction.
