So yesterday Heath Ledger died. RIP to him and his family btw. Anyway so CNN is running in the background while I'm working so I'm kinda listening to their coverage over the entire day. The thing that I took notice of was his fans. One chick gets interviewed and she is standing there telling the reporter how she has cried all day and don't know how to get through all of this. WTF? You didn't even know the guy and the guy sure as hell didn't know you so what the fuck are you crying over? Sure he died and its sad but more than 20,000 people die from starvation everyday around the world and they don't even get a single minute of coverage while one man gets 75 reruns in a day? Something is for sure fucked up in the world.

And don't get me wrong I'm not a humanitarian by any means. I don't devote my free time to save other people and I don't support charities other than scientific ones. Having said that I still see something totally wrong with all of this.

I just feel bad for Heath Ledger cause I caught something about him on MtV and another channel and they were both saying "He will always be remembered as the gay cowboy..." Haha that fucking sucks. Hopefully he kicks ass in the new batman so he can be remembered for that.
